Richmond Recruitment and Profiles - an Introduction
Richmond Recruitment is delighted to announce a partnership agreement with Profiles International.
This technology allows Richmond Recruitment to go beyond the traditional service offering of other recruitment companies. “This agreement gives Richmond Recruitment’s clients the ability to go beyond the conventional CV and interview method of selection, and gives them an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage” says (Graham Burns, Director)
The Profile XT is a secure, web-based assessment that a candidate can complete from any geographical location with Internet access. Through its innovative JobFit™ technology it measures essential data an employer needs to make better hiring, training, managing and promoting decisions. The Profile XT employs advanced online technology that predicts job suitability and accurately matches people with the work they do.
The Profile XT answers three critical questions about a candidate for employment:
- Can the person do the job?
- Will the person do the job?
- Does the individual fit the job?
Once our clients know the answers to these questions it allows them to;
- Avoid Costly Hiring Mistakes
- Hire Top Performers
- Put the Right Person in the Right Job the First Time
- Identify & Develop Leadership Skills of Supervisors, Managers, and Executives.
“Having The ProfileXT system is like having an Occupational Psychologist on the team to assist in the hiring and retention process” says Graham Burns
The ProfileXT software itself contains all of the expertise necessary to interpret assessment results, providing those results in easy-to-read graphic and verbal reports. (sample reports can be provided on request).
The ProfileXT measures Behavioural Traits, Occupational Interests and Thinking Style to evaluate how an individual fits into a particular job. It is designed to facilitate placing candidates in the best jobs by building Job Match Patterns (Benchmarks) and matching the candidates' results against them. The web-based software calculates an Overall Match percentage when reviewing an individual for possible placements. By building Job Match Patterns with either actual top performers (concurrent study method) or by analysis of a job by those who know the job well (job analysis survey method), a valid job pattern may be developed.
However, The ProfileXT software itself contains all of the expertise necessary to interpret assessment results, providing those results in easy-to-read graphic reports. The reports available include:
- The Placement Report, which provides an objective structure for the interview process - providing very accessible information on the candidate to be interviewed. It also generates an interview plan, tailored to the specific requirements of the target position, with questions designed to reduce the amount of time the interviewer needs to spend in preparation for interviews. This set of questions is tailored by the software to specifically address those areas in which the candidate falls short of the desired attributes for the target position.
- The Coaching & Training report helps managers to develop their people via training, by providing an insight to their abilities, skills, personality and motivations. This report can be a valuable objective input into the self-development planning of staff, into training needs analysis, and into the annual review process.
- The Multi Job Match Report helps to plan in advance to ensure that someone is identified to fill key positions long before filling them becomes urgent - by identifying who best suits these positions and planning their development so that they are ready when the time to take over arrives.
- The Individual Report is a great asset in providing anyone taking The ProfileXT with a copy of his or her results, presented in positive first-person language. As the focus of this report is on the positive aspects of the candidate I have never seen anyone less than delighted by the outcome of the assessment.
In summary, the process used with The ProfileXT is designed to understand what is required for success in a job, and then know how well a given individual will fit into that job. The assessment itself takes about one hour to complete, whether on the internet, on paper, or on a PC in-house.
