Snr Risk and Compliance Manager

Role:

This role is a very visible senior position, managing and co-ordinating the Risk and Compliance team.  You will also ensure that all matters relating to the company's Operational Risk are effectively managed.

Owning the risk management framework for the company, you will ensure comprehensive risk identification, mitigation and controls assurance testing and ensure effective operation of the Risk and Compliance Committee.  This position reports regularly to the Senior Management Team and prepares regular reports for the Risk and Compliance Board.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of legal, statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to Insurance.  In addition you will have a knowledge of Data Protection and AML requirements for Insurance and Brokerage companies.  With excellent experience of Operational Risk, you will have the ability to self manage and to co-ordinate workloads and priorities.
