Role:
Our client a long established company in Limerick are looking to recruit a Customer Quality Engineer.
Principal Job Outputs:
Customer and Sales Office liaison on product quality concerns including follow through to closure. Generate and work with sustaining engineers and manufacturing sites in developing root cause analysis, containment and corrective actions to closure.
Generation of weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports on customer and return failure analysis by product by site. Use the data obtained to continuously improve product/process reliability. Quality approval processes for NPI outbound transfers and local product development. Planning and execution of quality activities and makes recommendations to management on QA related issues. Visit customer sites, primarily within Europe, as required. Other ad hoc management projects as defined by management.
3 years in a test or design or sustaining engineering in an electronics manufacturing enivornment.3-4 years in quality assurance & quality control in a printed circuit board-manufacturing environment. Self-starter with the ability to perform effectively as a team member. Ability to lead, motivate and co-ordinate cross-functional teams through personal involvement and program management skills. 8D report generation. Computer literate. Knowledge of ISO9001 and 14001 standards and systems an advantage. Fluent in foreign language an advantage.
Primary Degree in Electronics Engineering
