Role:
Our Ennis based client is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager.
Prepare working documents in support of monthly sales and operations planning meeting, publish meeting’s minutes and execute corresponding forecast maintenance. Maintain sales forecast information incorporating input from customers, S&OP process, sell-through analysis, and new product introduction process. Coordinate weekly commitment process for key customers. Further CPFR relationships with key customers. Manage 3PL. Manage Purchasing Function.
You will be assessed on: Forecast accuracy,
Inventory turns and efficiency, On time
Delivery, Logistics cost per carton,
You will form key relationships with: Counterparts at key customer accounts, new product introduction teams, Suppliers, 3PL Mgmt Team, Internal teams including Purchasing, Distribution, Sales, Customer Service, ERP user groups.
The successful candidate will have the
following experience or knowledge in the
following areas:
A minimum of 10 years of supply chain management experience in multiple plant and distribution center networks. Effective management of high-volume low-mix, and low volume-high mix consumer electronic products. Strong people Management Experience. Experience with manufactured and outsourced products. ISO 9000 and/or QS9000 experience. Robust understanding of supply chain planning tools such as Manugistics, i2, APO from SAP, DP from Peoplesoft, etc.
Strong Exel skills
Qualification
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Information Systems.
APICS certified in production and inventory management (CPIM).
ISM/NAPM certified purchasing manager (CPM).
