Role:
A Shannon based multi national company requires an Electronics Engineer.
You will be working in a team environment, developing innovative solutions for Fire and Gas Detection products and systems.
The design work involves low power analogue, low power radio transceivers and digital electronics and the interfacing of sensors including optical, heat, ionization and carbon monoxide for fire and toxic gas detection. Microcontrollers are used extensively in the company’s high volume manufacture.
Technical Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Degree in Electronic Engineering, 1.1 or 2.1. At least 4 years relevant experience. Good software programming skills in assembly and C. Familiarity with low level RF communication protocols. Experience of high volume electronics manufacture. PCB layout for automatic assembly.
